This piece of jewelry is made from a cross section of a black walnut shell.
The process involves removing the husk of the walnut before cutting the hard inner shell into a thin slice. The walnut itself is then removed from the core of the shell. A faceted red garnet was fitted at the center before the entire piece was sealed beneath a plant based resin.
Your necklace is reversible and includes a cotton blend cord which can be adjusted to your liking.
