This piece of jewelry is made from the most physically dense pinecone in the world. The cross section displays the interlocking wings of the pinecone before they span apart.
Each pinecone yield one viable cut from which I am able to make jewelry. The mini pinecones are particularly hard to find and thus are considered more rare. The patterns despite their small size are just as intricate to scale.
Each necklace is encased within a scuff resistant resin.
The chain is Italian sterling silver 925 at 16 inches. Claw clasp.
